1. Affordability - as I have already stated, this is the reason why I got started. I wanted to have my own business but could not afford to have a brick and mortar type business. The cost of such a thing was just extremely high! For instance, if you wanted to be a franchise owner of aMcDonald's did you know that the minimum investment is more than half a million dollars! With an online business it is possible to get started with absolutely no money. I'm serious - no money!
When it comes to affordability I have this little hypothetical story to tell:'re Hungry so you go into your nearby McDonald's an dorder the double quarter pounder with cheese extra value supersized meal. (You're really hungry!)
While waiting for your order, a sign catches your eye. It reads:"McDonald's franchise for sale. All interested speak to the manager. "So you ask to speak to the manager and ask him exactly what does the sign mean. He replies that the sign means exactly what it says. That this McDonald's franchise is for sale by the owner.
Your next two questions: 1) What all comes with the franchise and 2) how much will it cost?He answers, Everything comes with it. the franchise rights,the name, the location, the building, the equipment, the employees ... Everything!
But when he Tells you the price, you can not believe your ears. Only $ 50.00!
"Say what?"
So he repeats himself, "Only $ 50.00!"Now this is a fictitious story. Likely no more than one will offer you a McDonald's franchise for only $ 50.00! But if they did, would you accept the offer?
I think that would be a no-brainer. You would have to be insane not to.When I originally wrote this article, I was trying to promote a product that cost just under $ 50.00. But as I have said, you can get started for FREE!
2. Freedom - would not it be great if you could call your boss and say today,"Hey boss, it's a beautiful day at the beach so I am not coming in today!"Try it and see what happens. You will most certainly have freedom, but with no income there is not much you can do.
By owning an online business you can take any day off that you wish. You are your own boss. There is no one to tell you what to do. Now with that said it is beneficial to have an online business in place that earns you cash automatically without your intervention (and that is possible!)If you enjoy working, but still want to go to the beach or some other gorgeous spot, do what my friend Willie Crawford millionaire does.Whenever Willie goes somewhere, he has his laptop and an internet connect card so that he can work from almost anywhere! Willie lives not far from me in Navarre, Florida and loves to go to the beach and drink a cold drink while working from his lounge chair!
3. Get paid anytime of day - if you have the right system in place, you can get paid anytime of day! You do not need to be physically in any shop waiting for customers to come to the register and pay for their purchases. Axle I have seen on many internet marketing web sites, you can get paid evenwhen it is 2 A.M. in the morning!
4. No commuting - I love this one Because the truth is that I hate driving.
Iam usually a pretty pleasant person. I am really likeable and loveinteracting with people, except for when I am driving. I am one of theworst when it comes to road rage. So if I do not have to drive, great! Thatway I do not have to call the driver in front of me Booger LIPS!
Just think about when you first wake up in the morning, you can go straightto your computer after brewing your morning coffee. You do not need toshower of shave. You do not even need to dress Because You Are home andtherefore you can work in your underwear if you desire to do so.
5. Create your own work hours - when you start your own online business,you can create your own hours. Maybe you are not a morning person soyou want to sleep in a little bit. Well, you can do that since you're theboss! If a family emergency arises, you can take off when you need towithout fear of being terminated. A word of caution here: you can takeoff anytime you wish, but you do have to work sometime or the jobwill not get done!
6. Be your own boss - this has been hinted at several times already, but it isa fact that when you are your own boss, you are the one in control. It isyour baby. Success or failure depends upon you. Have you ever workedsomewhere that required you to work with others, but some members ofthe team did not have the same passion and work ethic that you possess?You do not have to worry about that if you are the one in charge!7. Take a long lunch breaks - one of my favorites because i enjoy a goodmeal. Many jobs give you only half an hour to an hour lunch break. Butwhat if you have errands to run during your lunch break and it requiresmore than an hour? For instance, once I had to go pay my power bill thatday during my lunch break or my power would be turned off. What if Ionly had one hour and the round trip took me longer than an hour and Istill had not even eaten yet? Just something to think about!
8. No overhead - when you own your own online business, as a general ruleyou have no real overhead. With an online business all you really need isa computer and a connection to the internet. You do not have to worryabout leasing a building, paying utilities, paying employees, and etc..You only need to earn what is required for your cost of living.
9. No inventory - one of the greatest types of an online business to own isone that sells digital information. Why? Because there is no inventory!It is stored online and can be accessed by the Purchaser without anyinvolvement from you.This is almost also true if you sell a physical product from a dropshippingcompany. However, you still have to inform the company of the shippingaddress and pay the wholesale price for the product. But you do not have tokeep it at your house or in some warehouse!
10.Easy to start - an online business is very easy to get started. There aresome online businesses where you can get started within five minutes.It's that easy. There are others that are very profitable that require moretime, but it is worth it in the long run. These businesses are like buildinga house. First you must lay the foundation and then build upon that!Once that is completed they almost run on autopilot.
11.Easy access to big markets - an online business offers you greatopportunities Because the internet is a global business. You can sell toalmost everywhere in the world! I live in Pensacola, Florida. Let's saythat if I were to set up shop on Davis Highway. My main market wouldonly be Pensacola, and perhaps, the surrounding communities. But withan online business the possibilities are virtually endless.12. Easily targets your customers - it is possible with internet marketing toyour targeted customers through search engine optimization and othermethods so that you do not waste your marketing dollars. This will beDiscussed more fully later.
13. Easily help others and get paid for it - one of the awesome things aboutInternet marketing is that after you have done it for a while and haveBecome a success, is that you can Become a consultant or a coach(Trainer), and even get paid for it. I can name numerous internetnetrepreneurs marketing such as Mike Filsaime, Willie Crawford, JohnReese, Mark Joyner, Russell Brunson, and etc..
